They’re wild, they’re rockin’, they’re adorable...stick horses extraordinaire. Late 19th Century Plains warriors often carried wooden horse effigies during ceremonies as a symbol of their bravery and skill in acquiring enemy horses. Carved horse effigies also served as a tribute or memorial to a favorite horse.
Each pony in our remuda is handcrafted with the use of sumptuous leathers, exquisite laces, rhinestones, bells and feathers. All are signed and numbered, with hangtags denoting each ponies name and description. Some speak boldly of the Old West, some remain quietly elegant, and still others shout out,
“I’m glamorous, just look at me!”
